Founded in 1976 in Jerusalem, today it has factories in USA, and sales offices in Japan and Europe. In 2007, Ophir established a subsidiary in Switzerland (Ophir Optics Europe GmbH) to sell lenses and components for surveillance and imaging systems in Europe.
