The company was founded in 2002 in Logan, Utah. Wasatch Photonics designs and manufactures high-performance VPH volume phase holographic gratings for astronomy, spectral imaging and optical coherence tomography (OCT), as well as spectrometer systems for a variety of research and measurement applications, including Romanov and OCT. VPH gratings, spectrometers and systems are used in research laboratories around the world.
